Damaged, defective or overheating lithium-ion battery cells can enter thermal runaway, creating rapidly escalating temperatures and allowing the reaction to spread from cell to cell.
The Fire Cloak Lithium Battery Fire Blanket is designed to be deployed over the affected battery or equipment to contain the fire, limit heat radiation and help reduce the spread of flames, smoke and hazardous debris to surrounding property.
Fire Cloak does not replace professional firefighting response or extinguish a lithium battery fire on its own. Instead, it provides a powerful containment tool for trained personnel dealing with lithium-ion battery incidents.
Engineered for Extreme Heat
Fire Cloak uses a specially modified ultra-high-silica fabric with a fire-resistant silicone coating on both sides.
According to Fire Cloak's technical performance data, the material offers temperature resistance exceeding 1,600°C (2,912°F), with the base fabric capable of withstanding 1,000°C (1,832°F) while unstressed.
The blanket is approximately 0.65mm thick and incorporates a substantial fire-resistant coating on both sides to create a heavy-duty barrier designed specifically for extreme fire conditions.
Four Reinforced Fire-Resistant Pull Handles
The Fire Cloak Lithium Battery Blanket features four heavy-duty fire-resistant pull handles, one at each corner.
Each handle uses a triple-layer reinforced mounting point and high-temperature-resistant stitching for strength during deployment.
The leading-edge handles are red, while the remaining handles are black, helping trained personnel quickly identify the correct deployment orientation.

Review and Report
- Immediate Review: Inspect all orders upon receipt for any damage or loss. Report any issues within 10 days of delivery, including photographs of the damage or loss.
Return Eligibility
- New and Unused Items: Returns must be reported within 45 days by calling us, or notifying us by email.
- Exclusions: Special order parts, discontinued items, electronic parts, customized apparel, custom-made products/accessories, and clearance items are not eligible for return.
Return Process
- Return Labels: We will send a UPS label for returns, unless determined otherwise. If the return is due to customer error, label fees will be deducted upon receipt and crediting of the return.
- Condition: Products must be returned in new condition and in their original packaging. All returned items are subject to inspection for damage or misuse before a credit or refund is issued.
Credits and Refunds
- Accepted Returns: You may receive full credit, minus the cost of the return label if applicable. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Certain conditions, including a 25% restocking fee, may apply.
Amazon Purchases
- Amazon Orders: Items purchased through Amazon.com must be returned through Amazon’s online return policy. We do not accept returns for items purchased on Amazon.com.

In-Stock Items
- Non-Freight Items: In stock items ship same business day when placed by 2:00 PM CST.
- Factory-Direct Items: Typically ship within 7-10 business days from the manufacturer's stock. Some items may take longer. FOB point(s) as indicated.
- Shipping Days: Orders ship Monday through Friday. Orders received on weekends and holidays ship the next business day.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping and handling will be billed FOB shipping point and added to your invoice.
Out-of-Stock Items
- Notification: If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you with the next available shipping date. You can choose to wait or cancel the item from your order.
Expedited Shipping
- Cut-Off Time: Orders requiring expedited shipping must be placed by 12:00 PM Central Time for next-day delivery.
- Weekend Orders: Orders placed on Friday will be delivered on the next business day. Saturday is not considered a business day.
- Delays: Severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond our control may delay UPS services.
Heavy Items
- Items Over 150 lbs: Delivered by motor freight. Expedited shipping is not available for less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. Delivery dates are not guaranteed by freight companies.
- Shipping Quotes: Shipping charges will be provided when you place your order. If recalculations are necessary, we will contact you before proceeding.
